NATURAL HISTORY UNFOLDS COLLABORATION

Wildlife, conservation, and natural history related information such as dates, events, experts, opportunities, and resources (in teaching and learning) are scattered all over the internet. Not only does Natural History Unfolds (NHU) bring them into one place, it is also an entirely free-to-use platform dedicated to individuals, groups, and organizations interested in earth and life sciences to connect, learn, and broadcast! Through NHU’s recent collaboration with Scubazoo.TV, local and international audiences are able to quickly preview and stream these educational series through embedded channel links.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER EXPERIENCES

If you’re interested in helping us produce wildlife and conservation films here in Southeast Asia and want to actively be a part of our productions, then join our ‘Executive Producer Experience’!

With your valuable financial contribution to our shows, you can join our industry experts on location. Learn about the various aspects involved in film-making from start to finish, and get film and photography tips from our professional crew. You’ll even have the potential to appear on screen, as well as being listed as ‘Executive Producer’ in the end credits of all films too!

Whether it’s tagging elephants or relocating orangutans in the jungle, embarking on a turtle rodeo or diving seldom-explored reefs, you will come away with stories you’ll be telling for years to come…

SZtv INTERNSHIPS

Would you like to come and work for a wildlife film-making company in Borneo and gain valuable experience in this exciting industry? Here at SZtv we are always looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about wildlife and film-making to work with our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.

Applicants should ideally be:

  • college student or recent college graduate
  • students of biological sciences or film-making & photography

Details of the position:

  • full time (40hrs/week)
  • unpaid
  • duration of 8-12 weeks (flexible)
  • intern responsible for travel expenses to/from Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, meals in Kota Kinabalu, and transport to our office

SZtv interns will mostly be involved with general office based work at our headquarters in Kota Kinabalu, and the work can include (but is not limited to) cataloging and keywording stock library footage and photos; editing; transcribing interviews; equipment maintenance; working as a runner; and sometimes assisting with productions in the field. Work in the field is by no means guaranteed but opportunities may arise during your stay.
